Doug's Bio

Doug

Doug Warner’s early career started in radio and TV, working at a top 40 AM radio station as a disc jockey, and at a cable TV station as an on-air reporter for the Poconos in Pennsylvania.

Owning and operating an international executive search firm for 13 years has been a valuable asset for the voice-over actor, as it helped Doug talk “conversationally” for a living. He conducted hundreds of interviews with candidates from many countries around the world.

Doug brings many years of experience from the corporate world to your project, primarily from the information technology industry, engineering, sales, and sales management. Doug has additional experience with high tech recording products, chemical engineering, insurance, and even the mortgage banking industry.

Education

Doug successfully completed an intense premier voice-over training program with Creative Voice Development Group, LLC, in New York and specialized in conversational copy reading and delivery. Mentored, coached and directed by voice acting expert David Bourgeois, Doug learned the ins and outs of the studio and production.

Doug's formal training is in public speaking (motivational & sales). He's conducted numerous sales training courses and seminars in the U.S., as well as throughout Europe. You'll find no one more comfortable with speaking in front of large groups.

His voice has been described as “breathy,” "sincere," and “the right voice to ask for money!” It is perfect for commercials, radio tags, IVR, on-hold phone messages, PowerPoint™ presentations, and more. Doug's voice style is mature, but he has a very wide range.
